This presentation explores the state through the eyes of women. Topics include the settling of Detroit, the Civil War, the growth of education, the settling of northern Michigan, the fires of 1871 and 1881, a missionary teacher in the upper peninsula, the copper mine strike of 1913, the Bath School Disaster (1927), and the home front during World War II.

Toddler Time - Hatch a Dino!

Little dinosaur lovers ages 0–4 will enjoy a dino-themed story before getting the chance to hatch their very own surprise dinosaur egg and discover the baby dino hiding inside. It’s a fun mix of story time, hands-on play, and prehistoric fun!

STEM DinoBuilders

Calling all dinosaur lovers! Join us for a roaring good time at this hands-on STEM adventure where kids can build their very own imaginative dinosaurs using giant foam fossil pieces. The fun begins with a short presentation featuring popular dinosaurs made from oversized dino bones before everyone gets the chance to create their own prehistoric masterpiece. Halfway through the event, get ready for the DinoBuilder Parade! Kids will proudly march around showing off their custom dinosaur creations while dino-themed music fills the room. With giant dinosaur decorations, including an 8-foot T-Rex and an 8-foot Triceratops, this interactive experience is packed with creativity, movement, learning, and fun for the whole family! 🦖
