Adults 'Nailed It! Bad Art Night'

Think you can recreate a masterpiece — but with a twist? Join us for a night of laughs, creativity, and imperfect art! We’ll provide all our art scraps and a photo of the “goal”. Your challenge? Recreate it in 45 minutes, using whatever materials you like. No art skills needed — just come ready to have fun and embrace the wonderfully bad results. Free and open to adults. Let’s see who can “nailed it” the best!

Touch a Truck Day!

Touch a Truck Day is back! 🚒🚜🚓 Bring the kids out for a fun morning of big trucks, cool vehicles, and hands-on fun! Our parking lot will be full of fire trucks, construction vehicles, emergency cars, and more — all ready for kids to explore, climb into, and learn about. It's a great chance to meet the people who operate these awesome machines and see them up close. Please note: Our parking lot will be full of vehicles for the event, so plan to park in nearby lots or on surrounding streets. Free and open to all — no registration needed. Don’t forget your camera!

Teen Trash Can Painting

Hey teens! 🎨 Ready to get creative and make a difference? Join us at the library for Trash Can Painting — we’ll be giving a plain trash can a fresh, fun new look with your artwork. It’s a cool way to express yourself and help brighten up the library space. No experience needed, just bring your ideas and your creativity. Free and open to all teens — come make something awesome with us!

Youth Music Show

Get ready to sing, dance, and have some musical fun at the library! 🎶 We’re hosting a special live music program just for kids. There will be plenty of songs, movement, and chances for little ones to join in and make some noise of their own. It’s a great way to introduce kids to music in a playful, engaging setting — and a fun way to spend time together at the library! Free and open to all. Come ready to move, clap, and enjoy the music!

All supplies will be provided, and everyone will leave with their own colorful masterpiece to take home. No experience needed — just bring your imagination and be ready to have fun with paint! Free and open to all while supplies last.

Teen Bouquet Shadow Drawings

Hey teens! 🎨🌸 Want to try something creative and a little different? Come join us for Bouquet Shadow Drawings at the library. We’ll have bouquets of flowers for you to hold up to the light while your friends trace their shadows on paper. Then you get to color them however you want — bright, bold, or subtle, it’s totally up to you! It’s a chill, fun way to make some cool art and hang out with friends. Free and open to all teens — hope to see you there!

Teen Sprout Squad

The library will be growing a community garden this summer, and we need YOUR help! Join us each month as we grow and learn more about keeping a garden. The Sprout Squad will be meeting on select Mondays each month until September.
